"Road Less Traveled" Watercolor
Artist's Mission Statement
In my work I transform actual places into "romantic settings". My primary goal in creating my oil and watercolor paintings is to capture the beauty of memorable places, and inspire viewers to visit the depicted locations.
Sometimes I start painting on location to aid in capturing a specific mood. My paintings of lighthouses, cityscapes, country barns and mountain scenes are either developed from initial drawings, rough paintings done on location, or from multiple photographs.
